I'm glad you asked! Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab of Emirites (U.A.E.) It is also the country's center of political, industrial and cultural activities. It is also one of seven emirates located in the Middle East. The term emirates is used because they are ruled by emirs. The seven emirates are: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain.
